Merry Beach planning is now in full swing ...   (General)
Merry Beach is going to look much like it has in years gone by, as far as having Brindabellans camping and some in cabins and houses on the headlands and having the big community tent - but only IF we can get people to help us take all the gear down. We will need two cars to tow a trailer full of gear and one to tow the tent trailer. The activities during the weekened are also reliant upon your help. If you have an acitvitiy you'd like to run, let Ruth and Brigita know as soon as possible. We hope to have a bit of an outline available for everyone by 21 February. We'll also post a list of help needed early next week. If you have not booked a campsite, we have a number of them left but have limited where you can camp to try and keep us altogether. Ruth will be giving back all sites unbooked next Tuesday, so please see her on Sunday or email her if you want to book a site. There are ensutie sites left as well. After next Tuesday, you are able to ring the park directly to make a campsite booking. If you'd like to book a cabin, phone the park directly. If you have changed your mind and you are no longer attending merry beach PLEASE LET RUTH KNOW ASAP.
We may require an extra payment from each family or group attending depending on numbers. It will be between an extra $10 and $20 each family, but we will stipulate over the coming weeks, depending on numbers.

Soulsearchers - New Christian Singles Group in the ACT and surrounding areas   (General)
From: Simone Zimmer
Hi my name is Simone Zimmer, and I belong to Cooma Baptist Church, and also Singles for Christ.
I have met singles from our area who would love to get together for fun, fellowship, outings and new friendships. After discussion with my Pastor, I have decided to go ahead with this Ministry and would ask you to mention Soulsearchers in your Church Bulletin.
Could you ask anyone interested to email me with their details so that I can let them know when an activity has been planned. I would like to get together once in Cooma and once in Canberra before Christmas, then plan to meet every month or so, depending on interest. There is no age limit, singles can be never married or single again.
I would love this group to grow, as singles can often feel lonely or neglected.
Many thanks
Yours in Christ
Simone Zimmer
