Churchwide news : 12 March   (General)
Well - I think all who attended Merry Beach enjoyed being community together in Jesus, at a pretty great location, despite a bit of rain. It doesn't work without everyone's help, so thanks all.

Be in prayer for Joel and Amanda who get married on 20 March - only a week away!
Also pray for Julie Geddes and her family. Julie's grandad died this week.

There is a farewell dessert and coffee night for Pauline on Tuesday 16 March. Please see Kathy Rusin if you are able to come along, or can't, but want to send a message.

A reminder that we didn't take up an offering last week for merry beach. It's always a dip in the year, but more impacting at the moment as our finances are still low. Remember the special love offering for Pauline and Des for Sunday as well. See notes below.

I apologise if emails and communication has been a little lacking in the last couple of weeks. The connexion office is still having trouble with it's internet and phone access, so I'm doing most of the computer work here at home ... and quite often, the information I need is back at the office! We hope to have it sorted soon.

I'm aware there is a youth group programme that hasn't made it out to your inboxes. Please phone Garry Delbridge or one of the youth leaders for information, if you haven't seen the programme. It is on today as usual, at chisholm high.

There is a service roster for this Sunday:
Des Daniels is sharing with us.
Dean is servant co-ordinator
Paul is leading worship
Adrian is doing sound - (not sure if it was marks or parker ... please clarify)
Steve Orme is opening and closing up
Tony T is on set up
Bronte is on laptop
Riitta is providing morning tea
Kathy Rusin is on welcome
Riitta will be doing announcements
Keith Smith is on money counting.
I believe there will be kids club, but I haven't heard for sure ... come prepared for it not being on just in case.

Blessings everyone
Ruth
for the management team

To Kids live parents   (Children)
Thank you to those who have returned their Child Information forms. We are still waiting on many forms to be returned, so please return yours ASAP to Vanessa Luke.
As was announced last Sunday there will be no Kids LIVE this Sunday (28th). There will be toys and colouring-in materials available at the back of church to help entertain the kids. Your children may also like to bring their own games or activities to amuse themselves. Thanks.

Roster up until EAster and beyond   (Creative Arts and Worship)
For those who weren't at merry beach, Riitta (our new operations manager) provided us with a blank roster and the opportunity to renew and reconsider how we may serve the life of the body on a sunday morning, into the future. A number of new families and people have put their hand up which is great. We will get back to you soon.
We are being asked to rethink church over the coming months and the roster may look very different, as may church. If shifts are made, this roster can still provide the basis of availability of people even if things may be a little different. The roster can change as we change.
In the meantime, I have inserted names of those who routinely help out as many have commented they are just happy to continue on. I have a draft roster attached. The worship and preaching side is still being worked out - but I'll send an update through next week. Please take a look and, especially for those who weren't at merry beach, let us know in what capacity you would like to serve here at Brindabella.
I just want to recognise and acknowledge that the sunday morning roster is not the total of all giftings and roles within the church as we also have children's ministry, youth ministry, outreach and missions which operate beyond a church community gathering etc ... but the sunday morning gathering is our family time together and a place where we can all help in one way or another.

Sunday Morning Parking - thank you   (General)
Thank you for parking your cars on the basketball courts. This greatly improves safety for our kids and creates a more welcoming front door to our church meetings each week.
